Have you ever wondered how video games are created or how robots are controlled? Have you ever wanted to create your very own game? Well now is your chance!

All next week, from 12/4 - 12/8, Code.org, a nonprofit organization, dedicated to expanding access to computer science for people around the world has put together an event called “Hour of Code”. Hour of Code will reach over tens of millions of students in over 180 different countries around the world introducing them to the world of computer science and showing off some of its possibilities.

Now, even if you have no experience with coding or computers and have always wanted to learn how, please join us all next week in the Blue and Yellow Labs during 6th, 7th and 8th grade lunch. Space is limited so come early.

Thank you! Hope to see you future computer scientists in the lab!

Audience: Leadership, 7th grade and Homepage

Starting on December 5th to December 13th, Cabrillo's  leadership class is hosting a  Canned Food Drive.

Please bring in Food to help the hungry.  All food donated goes to the 2nd Harvest Food Bank.  They give food to those who need it.  With the Holidays just around the corner, food is needed.

If every person donates  just 1 or 2 items, we will have over 900 items to donate.

Bring your food to your 1st  period class.   Leadership will come around and collect the food.

The class that brings in the most food will win a doughnut party.

Below are the items most needed - You can always check out the 2nd Harvest Food banks webpage for other needed items.
