The Santa Clara Unified Board of Trustees has established a policy of limited Open Enrollment. Although some schools are already at capacity, this policy allows parents who reside within the boundaries of the district to request enrollment of their children at "any District school which may have space available for additional students."
Admittance to the school of your choice under the Open Enrollment process is done by an annual random lottery system.
New to District Registration
PARENT ON-LINE REGISTRATION CENTER
NEW TO THE DISTRICT STUDENTS
To enroll a student who is new to the district:
STEP 1 - Complete the AIR on-line student registration forms.
STEP 2 - Complete the Proof of Residence, Health, and
STEP 3 - Gather required documents:
- Birth certificate/passport,
- Immunization records &
- Proofs of residence (3 needed)
STEP 4 - When ALL of the above items have been completed please
contact the Registrar via email or phone for a registration
